Chemex filters are about three times thicker than regular filter papers. This is precisely why Chemex coffee turns out so clean and clear - the thick paper traps coffee oils and the finest particles, which otherwise cause cloudiness and bitterness.

How to use
Fold the filter so that one side is triple thickness, and point it towards the coffee maker's spout. Before brewing, be sure to rinse with hot water - otherwise, you will taste the paper.
